KATE PIANO SERVICES

Welcome

Whether it is brand new, vintage, for a young learner, or a seasoned musician, your piano needs regular maintenance to be in optimal playing condition. I am available for your piano care so you can enjoy your piano every time you sit down to play.

Services

Tuning

Ideally, a piano should be tuned every 6 months to correspond with a change of season. The more it is played and/or exposed to change in humidity level,  the faster it wil go out of tune. If a piano has not been tuned for some time, it will need pitch correction (rough tuning) to bring it back close to pitch before fine tuning.

Repair, Regulation, Voicing

A piano doesn't make a sound? Or is it making an odd noise? With over 8000 internal parts, pianos can develop various problems, from stuck keys, inconsistent touch, to unpleasant tone.

Cleaning

Dust and debris are not only unsightly but cause rust as well as an obstruction to internal parts. Deep cleaning can protect your investment.

Evaluation

Not all pianos are tune-able. Having a piano evaluated before bringing it home will save you both time and money.
